Acceptable Stay, Significant Issues

The location is quiet and very convenient. It is an excellent choice for transiting.
The room we reserved advertised a "superior waterfront view". it was on the ground floor. Houseboats blocked the waterfront view. Joggers and pedestrians could see into the room. This was not acceptable.

a romantic getaway on the island

This was not my first visit, but it had been about 13 years! this lodging is only on granville island. i took my wife for one night. We experienced all the shops and the market, walking to and from our hotel. the staff at registration were very accommodating since we arrived early. we parked the car and explored on foot.
the room was clean but basic for an executive price. there was no microwave. it resembled a best western vibe. be prepared to be charged several extras upon check out. i saw a destination marketing fee, major events mrdt.

The hotel features a business center. They offered this amenity for our use. umbrellas were available for loan, especially helpful given the weather! perhaps the hotel could offer electric bike rentals.

the room included a comfortable bed and large shower, which i appreciated after a long day of travel. it checked all the boxes for a standard room, perfect for our short stay. we appreciated the cleanliness too!!!

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was excellent. i had eggs benedict with a nice side salad and tasty seasoned fried potatoes. various different dining options are on the island. We tried dockside restaurant and the food was amazing!!!

Quiet room with water view

I got a room very close to the Granville Island market. Room 328 was very quiet and had a water view facing Science World. The room included a coffee machine with pods and low light incandescent bulbs.

i found the front desk personnel helpful (especially with directions). the location on the island is very convenient for exploring. i appreciated the professional demeanor of the staff.
the hotel is starting to show its age. i noticed some mildew and lifting caulking in the bathroom, which requires attention.

my room was not great. it was close to the laundry and storage areas. i found that very inconvenient. the bathroom layout was also A problem.

great location close to everything

the hotel is next to the water and a few blocks from the market. shops and aquabus ferries were very close. i enjoyed the restaurant for meals and cocktails. the patio was perfect with the water views. the staff was friendly and helpful.
the duvet provided was not warm enough and i requested a warmer one. the replacement was the same and the radiator did not output much heat.

the hotel sits slightly outside the city's hustle. it is near interesting shops and businesses within walking distance. getting to concerts and venues is easy via a quick ride without parking or traffic concerns.
